The machine

A benchtop CNC mill. Real metal.

Ball screws and linear rails on all three axes, a 1.5 kW air-cooled spindle, and a rigid frame — so it holds 40 µm in aluminium and brass, not just in plastic.

Inside

Four things that decide precision.

Everything below is standard industrial hardware, which is why every part can be replaced and the machine keeps running.

011.5 kW air-cooled spindle

1.5 kW air-cooled spindle

High-RPM precision spindle. Air-cooled — no water tank, no coolant lines. Run it within the supplied guidelines.

02C7 ball screw and linear guide

Ball screws + linear guides

C7 ball screws and solid rails on X, Y and Z. This is where the 40 µm repeatability comes from.

03Machined aluminium and steel frame

Modular rigid frame

Machined aluminium and steel plates. Bolted, not welded — any sub-assembly can be swapped on your bench.

04Control box with cable harness

PC-based control

Plug into any PC, load a CAD/CAM file in the supplied software, set speeds and feeds, run.

ENVELOPE140 × 140 × 60 mm — the largest part one setup can make.

Honest trade-offs

What a desktop mill gives up.

It is small on purpose. Three things a ₹40 lakh VMC does that this one doesn't:

  • Coolant
None. Dry cutting with guidelines for feeds, depth and duty cycle. Steel is possible only slowly, in small parts.
  • Tool change
Manual. Rough with a big endmill, swap to a thin one for fine geometry. No automatic tool changer.
  • Part size
140 × 140 × 60. If your parts already fit, you don't need the big machine. If they don't, this isn't it.

What it makes

CNC-machined parts you'd otherwise outsource.

A 20 mm aluminium cube takes roughly 10–12 minutes. Curved, finished surfaces take longer; straight cuts and pockets go fast.

vs. a full-size machine

Buy for the parts you actually make.

A VMC can make small parts too — it's just an expensive way to do it. If your jobs fit in 140 × 140 × 60, the maths is simple.

Why ₹2.25 lakh

Mini CNC machine price in India, without the import markup.

The only comparable desktop machines are imported and land at ₹6–10 lakh. We build this one here.

Designed for small parts

No coolant plumbing, no tool changer, no three-phase cabinet. Precision where it matters, nothing where it doesn't.

Built in Bengaluru

Designed and assembled by us. No import duty, no distributor stack, and the people who service it are the ones who built it.

Sold direct, in batches

We build to pre-book demand and test-cut on every machine before it ships.

FAQ

Questions, answered.

Is pre-booking a payment?

No. It's a free reservation. When your machine is ready we confirm final price, GST and delivery; you decide then.

How long until delivery?

45 days from order confirmation, in pre-booking order. Bengaluru first, then the rest of India, then international.

Can I see it cut before I decide?

Yes. Tick "live demo" in the form. Visit us in Bengaluru, or send a drawing and we'll machine a sample in your material.

What materials can it cut?

Aluminium and brass are the sweet spot. Copper, nylon, plastics, wood, wax and PCB laminate all work. Small steel parts are possible, slowly. Hardened steel, titanium and stone are out.

No coolant — does it overheat?

The spindle is air-cooled and the machine ships with feed, depth and duty-cycle guidelines per material. Follow them and it runs 4–6 hour jobs. That's the trade for having no water tank or chip-coolant mess on a desk.

How do tool changes work?

By hand. Rough with a larger endmill, then swap in a thinner one for fine geometry and re-run. A starter endmill set is in the box; standard ER-collet endmills are available locally.

Do I need a computer?

Yes — any PC. The supplied software imports your CAD/CAM file and runs the machine. A PC is not included.

What's the warranty and lifetime?

3 years on the first batch. The machine is modular — every part can be replaced — so it has no fixed end of life; think 7+ years with ordinary care. Technician visits are charged.

Can it replace my 3D printer?

Not for plastic-only work; a printer is cheaper for that. It replaces outsourced metal parts — and gives a far better surface finish.

4 or 5 axes?

In development. Tell us in the form if you need it and we'll keep you posted.
